Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in a photography session?
When you book a photography session with us we want to capture your pets personality and the bond you share with them! This means we include a pre-session questionnaire and planning session so we can get to know you and your pet. This is followed by the 90-120min photography session and then a photo viewing where we go through all your beautiful photos and products.
Can human family members be in photos?
Absolutely! We LOVE capturing the special bond between you and your pet.
What if my dog isn't good off-leash?
That's ok! A combination of choosing safe and quiet locations, and post-session editing means we can almost always ensure there are no leads in your finished photos. We do ask that you don't have your dog in a harness, as these can be more difficult to remove during editing.
Can I bring more than one dog?
We photograph lots of families that have more than one furry family member. It is very common to have families with 3 or 4 dogs and we are happy to accomodate the whole family!
What if my dog isn't very obedient?
Not a problem! We have lots of dog training and handling experience, with Amber competing in obedience, tricks and scentwork with her three Border Collies, Brandi, Sadie and Chip. There are lots of tips and tricks we can use on the day to capture those special moments, even with the bounciest, most excited of dogs. We always come with lots of treats and can spend the time we need to get the perfect shot. If there are specific poses you would love, we can discuss these in our planning session to see what we can do!
Can you photograph in my home?
Of course! If your dog is more comfortable at home we can come to you. We also photograph cats either in your home or backyard, where they are comfortable and we can capture them in a relaxed environment.
