About Me

Welcome to Paw Prints Photography! A place where I (Amber) have the pleasure of combining my love of photography, dogs and adventure in the one place.

I am a Veterinarian by trade, and a dog-crazy, adventure-loving photographer in every other spare minute of life. When I'm not running the crazy, challenging and rewarding business of a vet clinic, I travel the country side with my four dogs; holidaying, exploring and trialling in obedience, tricks and scentwork.

Brandi, Sadie, Chip and Bentley are my world (and of course my wonderful, devoted, dog-loving husband, Grant!), my best friends and the entire reason I do what I do! I couldn't imagine life without the chaos of them running by my side every day. Brandi is my soul dog, the logo of this business, the reason I got into dog sports and started travelling in the first place. She is more human than dog, I swear she understands English and has been by my side as I learnt who I was in life. Sadie is our goofball, the sweetest of sweet and our talker. Her "awooooos" welcome us home every day and she's always up for any level of attention. Bentley is our odd one out, a Dachshund who thinks he is a Border Collie like the rest. Full of attitude and charisma, will play fetch better than any collie ever could and will end the day curled up on the lap of whoever will allow. And our baby of the crew, Chip. A people-pleasing, cheeky, sock thieving best little boy, who reminds us to never stop having fun.

Combine my love for travel and adventure, finding new spots and capturing the beauty of nature with the personalities and love for our dogs, the desire to truly capture the essence of each individual soul, and Paw Prints Photography was ignited!

To be able to watch the emotion of families when they see their furry family members personality and their special bond in a photograph is the magical part. I am so lucky to be able to capture the true friendship between a family and their pet.
